HTC Dash 3G is T-Mobile UK version of the very popular HTC Snap and supports GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 2G networks and HSDPA 1700 / 2100 3G networks. It measures 116.5 X 61.5 X 12 mm and weighs merely 120 grams.
HTC T-Mobile Dash 3G runs on a 528 MHz processor and features Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard operating system. The device has a 2.4 inches TFT screen which has a resolution of 320 X 240 pixels and can display 65K colors. It has a QWERTY keyboard and also a trackball for easy navigation.
Data connectivity options include Class 10 GPRS with speeds of 32 to 48 kbps, Class 10 EDGE with speeds upto 236.8 kbps and HSDPA with speeds of upto 7.2 Mbps. Other features include Wi-fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2Dp and microUSB.
Users can listen to their favorite tracks using the phone's music player which supports MP3/WAV/WMA/eAAC+ file formats. Video playback is also offered via the video player which supports MP4/H.264/H.263 file formats. You can also view and edit document files of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF. The handset has a 2 MP megapixel camera which allows users to take images up to a resolution of 1600 X 1200 pixels and also record videos.
Messaging options are SMS, MMS, Email, Push Email and instant messaging. Typing messages is a cake walk thanks to the full QWERTY keyboard. A WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML allows the user to directly access the internet on the phone.
